Turn The Dial
You turn the dial on the vast machine. Suddenly, the mechanical beast comes to life, giving off various lights, colors, and sounds. Your heart rate increases as the machine also illuminates the rest of the facility, and it hits you that perhaps you've actually gone too far in your intrusion of the Owner's private quarters. Perhaps discretion should have told you that this was too much, and you shouldn't have touched anything in the lab. But it's far too late for remorse. You've plunged headfirst into your actions. Now you've nothing to do but wait for the repercussions. A circular machine next to the main one lights up. Bolts of electricity flow from it's main core. It will be hard to explain what happens next.
A glimmering vortex appears within the circular gateway. You approach the glowing field slowly, trying to peer into it. What awaits you beyond the vortex? Who knows for certain? The true question is will you brave forward and find out?
